Notice of Public Hearing December 14, 2022 Variance from 157.175 off street parking requirements 4N2824 Tax Lot 600 Amazon Data Services

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 14th day of December, 2022 at or after 7:00 pm at City Hall, 180 NE 2nd St, Hermiston, Oregon.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request from Leif Van Acker for a variance from §157.175 of the Hermiston Code of Ordinances which establishes off-street parking requirements. The applicant requests a reduction in off-street parking requirements to allow 213 spaces instead of the required 861 spaces. The property is described as 4N 28 24 Tax Lot 600 and is located at 994 E Penney Ave. The property is owned by Amazon Data Services and is zoned Outlying Commercial/Heavy Industrial (C-2/M-2).  All interested persons are encouraged to attend.  Questions, comments or correspondence should be addressed to the City of Hermiston Planning Department, 180 NE 2nd St, Hermiston, OR  97838.
