Notice of Public Hearing April 14, 2021- Major Variance Rice Ventures, LLC 4N2802CB TL 3000 - 1750 N First St

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 14th day of April, 2021 at or after 7:00 pm at the Community Center, 415 S Hwy 395, Hermiston, Oregon.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request from David Kimmel of Yesco for a variance from §155.20 (A) and (B) of the Hermiston Code of Ordinances which establishes regulations and requirements for projection signs. The applicant requests approval to install new signage projecting 3 feet above the building and projecting 4 feet 4 inches over the sidewalk.  The property is described as 4N 28 02CB Tax Lot 3000 and is located at 1750 N 1st St. The property is owned by Rice Ventures, LLC and is zoned Outlying Commercial (C-2).  All interested persons are encouraged to attend.  Questions, comments or correspondence should be addressed to the City of Hermiston Planning Department, 180 N.E. 2nd Street, Hermiston, OR  97838.
