Bendixsen Sworn In As Judge Pro Tem

Cameron Bendixsen took the oath of office on Tuesday, March 2 as the judge pro tem for the Hermiston Municipal Court.

The judge pro tem serves as a temporary replacement when the elected Municipal Court judge has a conflict of interest or isn’t available to hear a case. The position is appointed by the Hermiston City Council.

Bendixsen is a shareholder and president at Bendixsen Law P.C. in Hermiston. He grew up in Hermiston and after graduating from Hermiston High School earned a Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.

He lives in Hermiston with his wife and four children and serves on various community and church organizations, including the Eastern Oregon Mission Board of Directors.

Phillip Spicerkuhn previously served as the judge pro tem but stepped down after he was appointed to the Hermiston City Council.
