NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: Hermiston Planning Commission - Variance Request, Rear Yard Setback (R-1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 13th day of July, 2016 at or after 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 180 N.E. 2nd Street, Hermiston, Oregon.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request from Dave Otnes for a variance from §157.025(D)3 of the Hermiston Code of Ordinances which establishes rear yard setback requirements in a (R-1) Single Family Residential zone.  The applicant requests that the rear yard setback be reduced from ten feet to seven feet.  The property is described as 4N 28 15AB Tax Lot 10500 and is located at 1035 W Judith Place.  All interested persons are encouraged to attend.  Questions, comments or correspondence should be addressed to the City of Hermiston Planning Department, 180 N.E. 2nd Street, Hermiston, OR  97838.
