Mortgage, rent, and utility assistance available in Hermiston

The City of Hermiston and the Community Action Program of East Central Oregon (CAPECO) are offering financial assistance to people who have lost income due to COVID-19. The funds are available through the federal CARES Act.

Relief funds are available to residents within Hermiston city limits to help cover financial needs, including mortgage payments, rental payments, and water, sewer, or garbage fees.

Applications are open to households under 110% of the county’s median income. Immigration status is not a requirement.
