NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - Alter a Nonconforming Use

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 9th day of October, 2019 at or after 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers of the City Hall, 180 NE 2nd Street, Hermiston, Oregon.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request for approval of an application to alter a nonconforming use from Rohrman Motor Co dba Tom Denchel’s Ford Country.

The applicant seeks to construct a 30’ X 91’ steel structure on the lot. The request is defined as an alteration of a non-conforming use and requires approval from the planning commission subject to the provisions for a conditional use permit prior to obtaining a building permit.   The property is located at 555 S HWY 395 and is zoned Central Commercial (C-1).  It is also described as 4N 28 11CC Tax Lot 2600 and owned by Rohrman Properties, LLC.
