NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 9th day of October, 2019, at or after 7:00 pm in the council chambers of City Hall, 180 NE 2nd Street, Hermiston, Oregon. The purpose of the hearing is to consider amending 5.45 acres of land on the city’s zoning map by adding the Neighborhood Commercial Overlay (NCO) to a portion of the property described as 4N2802C tax lot 212. The applicant is Eastern Oregon Development, LLC. The property is owned by John Schnell and addressed as 1610 N First St. The applicable criteria from the Hermiston Code of Ordinances that apply to the proposed changes are contained in Section §157.226.
