NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on December 9, 2020 at or after 7:00 PM at the Hermiston Community Center, 415 S Hwy 395, Hermiston, Oregon. The applicant is Eastern Oregon Development, LLC. The purpose of this hearing is to consider amending 11.50 acres of land on the city’s comprehensive plan map from Medium Density Residential (M) to Commercial (C) and consider the proposed annexation to the City of Hermiston, withdrawal from the Umatilla County Library District, and establishing zoning designation of the following described property: approximately 11.5 acre tract located at 455 E Elm Ave. The property, owned by Raquel Medelez is described as 4N 28 02CD, Tax Lot 500 and has a comprehensive plan map designation of Medium Density Residential (M) and is more particularly described as follows:
All that portion of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 4 North, Range 28, East of the Willamette Meridian, lying and being 8 feet Southerly of the Southerly line of the Hermiston Irrigation District Drainage Canal;
EXCEPTING therefrom the West 230 feet thereof;
ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom any and all water rights-of-way and roads;
All being East of the Willamette Meridian, in the County of Umatilla and State of Oregon.
The above-described land shall be designated as Neighborhood Commercial Overlay (NCO) on the City zoning map.
