NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - Hermiston Planning Commission

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 8th day of May, 2019 at or after 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 180 NE 2nd Street, Hermiston, Oregon.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request for approval of an application to allow a conditional use permit from Seventh Day Adventist Church.

The applicant seeks approval to allow a 22,480 square foot church building including sanctuary, classrooms, offices, kitchen, multipurpose space and parking are to be constructed on property located at 855 W Highland Ave. The request is defined as a conditional use and requires approval from the Planning Commission subject to the provisions for a conditional use permit. It is also described as 4N 28 15BA Tax Lot 901. The property is zoned Single-Family Residential (R-1) and owned by Upper Columbia Corp of SDA.
