The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request to remodel the external appearance of a designated historic building.
The applicant seeks to install a metal awning, signage, window replacement, add a door and remodel the entrance to facilitate ADA access to the building. The request requires approval from the planning commission subject to the provisions for a conditional use permit. The property, located at 201 E Main St is owned by The Simmons Agency, Inc. The property is zoned Downtown Commercial Overlay (DCO) and is described as 4N2811CB Tax Lot 4700.
