The Planning Commission is a quasi-judicial committee that hears, develops, and recommends land use decisions to the City Council. This can include the Comprehensive Plan, Zoning and Planning Ordinances, Urban Growth Boundaries, and other planning issues such as Urban Renewal Applications.

The Commission meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 pm at City Hall. City staff representatives are also included.
The Planning Commission is composed of nine members appointed by the City Council who serve staggered three-year terms running from April 1 through March 31.
