NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 9th day of August, 2017, at or after 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall, 180 N.E. 2nd Street, Hermiston, Oregon, on the proposed conversion to amend the City’s comprehensive plan map from “Future Residential” to “Low Density Residential” along with a corresponding change in the County zoning designation from Exclusive Farm Use (EFU-10) to Duplex Residential (R-2) for 13.10 acres of land. The public hearing will also consider the proposed annexation to the City of Hermiston and withdrawal from the Umatilla County Library District of the following described property:
- Parcel 2 Partition Plat Number 2017-10
- SUBJECT to any and all water rights of way;
- All being East of the Willamette Meridian, Umatilla County, Oregon.
The applicant is Frank W. Gehring Construction, Inc and the property is located on the south side of W Gettman Road approximately 305 feet east of SW 11th Street.
The location of the property is within the City=s Urban Growth Boundary and the proposed changes will allow the extension of city utilities and services to the property.
